Fund-Raising Walk/Run Event
Date: 9-10 September 2017
Location: Putney Bridge to Henley, London
The Thames Path Challenge is part of the “Ultra Challenge” series, all of which are hugely popular and successful fund-raising events. Here’s the description from the webpage of the Thames Path challenge:
“More than 3,000 challengers will take on the main Thames Path Challenge following England’s greatest river – most will be walking, many will jog, some will be running, and all will have a special reason to push themselves. Our full 100km route heads upstream from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50km, then on past wonderful scenery all the way to Henley.
Which ever distance you choose, and however you take it on, your challenge will be a test of stamina & determination, you’ll be fully supported all the way, and rewarded with an amazing sense of achievement.”

We’re delighted to say that some very good friends of our Foundation have already signed-up for the Thames Path Challenge – they’ve already raised a great deal of money for charity, and we’re sure that their immense commitment will bring them great success in this year’s challenge too – thank you so much, Aimee and Paul!
