Partners & Friends

Many companies and organisations – and individual people too – have generously contributed to our work, both financially and materially and with ‘Gifts-in-Kind’, and we’re proud to call them our partners and friends, in the support we seek to provide to bereaved families and Veterans.

The Kendo Nagasaki Foundation

The Lee Rigby Foundation is delighted to have the support of The Kendo Nagasaki Foundation. The Lee Rigby House, the Veterans’ Annexe, and the and Lodge are all on the same peaceful and idyllic country estate as the Nagasaki Retreat, and have been made available by the Nagasaki Foundation, also a registered charity.

Source Design

One of the first companies to extend the hand of support as the Lee Rigby Foundation sought to establish itself, Source Design generously applied its vision and skills, and has significantly contributed towards establishing our online presence and identity. Our sincerest thanks go to Glenn and Sally and all at Source, for their inspiration and insight.

The Blind Company
The Blind Company

We’re deeply grateful to Keith & Kim Lawson at The Blind Company for being among the first to offer us support, by providing all the window and door blinds for the Lee Rigby House, and also for putting us in touch with a great many more generous people and companies. Keith also started the ‘viral’ Facebook appeal which saw us deluged with support!

Band of Builders

An amazing band of decorators has come to the Lee Rigby House on several occasions, making light work of all the painting and decorating it’s needed, and they’ve done a brilliant job! Many thanks to you all, and to Band of Builders.

The Swift Group

The Swift Group have been extremely generous in supporting us, with extensive donations of high-quality furniture and appliances for the Lee Rigby House, for which we’re deeply grateful. Many thanks to Denise and all at Swift and their suppliers for their generosity and compassion.

A huge thank you to Paul Matson and Hull4Heroes for all their support, putting us in touch with really helpful people and companies, and offering help in countless ways – you’ve really helped us to move things forward, for which we’re deeply grateful.

Howdens have most kindly donated hardware for the Lee Rigby House, including top quality oak stair parts, for which we’re most grateful. Many thanks to all at the Leek branch for their generosity.

A very big thank you to Matt Richards at Wood2U Flooring for supplying all the laminate flooring for the Lee Rigby House. Matt gave us a wide range to choose from,
which resulted in a perfect match for the other oak finishes in the house – many thanks!

L’Oreal UK & Ireland

L’Oreal have generously made our Foundation one of their featured charities for 12 months. They were most generous in providing many prizes for the auction and raffle at our Manchester United Charity Dinner, and they continue to hold fund-raising events for our work. Many, many thanks to L’Oreal and their generous staff.

Jaguar Land Rover

Jaguar Land Rover have most kindly donated items to us, including a tour of the Halewood manufacturing facility and an offroad experience. Land Rover’s long-standing and deep connection with the armed forces now extends to their ongoing Military Covenant commitment supporting Veterans, and we’re most grateful for their support.

RJS Solicitors

RJS is a firm of solicitors which includes several specialised departments. We were delighted to have RJS’s support at our 18th March Charity Dinner at Manchester United, at which they had a VIP table – it was great to see you all there! RJS continues to ably advise and support the Kendo Nagasaki Foundation as they support the Lee Rigby Foundation.

…and Many More!

We have had support pledged to us by many other companies, organisations, and individuals, and as soon as we can make the most of their generosity and concern for our cause, we will add them to this list, including their icons and what they’ve done to help us help others. These are still relatively early days for our Foundation, and as more of our aims become fulfilled, we will see this list grow into an impressive roster of positive, pro-social, responsible, generous, and caring people and organisations. We have been humbled at the concern and support that has been shown for our cause, and we are immensely grateful for the generosity which will help us make a real difference in the lives of the bereaved families and Veterans we seek to help – thank you all.
